Build an intake form
In Forms, choose New form. Start by describing your calls, from a template, or by copying another form. Add questions, mark the ones customers must answer, show follow-ups only when an earlier answer calls for them, try it like a customer, then choose Go live.
Start the form
Open Forms and choose New form. Form Studio offers three starts:
- Describe the calls: tell the assistant what people call about and it drafts the questions.
- A template: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, gutters, landscaping, property valuation or a simple contact form.
- Copy another form: start from one you already have.
Write the questions
Choose Add a question and write it the way you would ask on the phone. For each question you can:
- Turn on “Customers must answer this”, so the request cannot be sent without it.
- Turn on “Ask this on phone calls too”, and see how the phone assistant will say it.
- Use “Only show when…” to ask it only after a particular answer to an earlier question.
- Mark an answer that makes the request urgent.
- Choose up to three questions that responders see first.
Try it, then go live
Try it fills in the form as a customer would, on the web or as a call. The timeline beside it shows what would happen. A practice request creates nothing and notifies nobody.
Go live publishes the form. After that, Publish changes sends your edits to every channel at once, and Version history keeps earlier versions.
